Test what you have learned across the five sections of the Infrared Thermography Level 1 course. This exam covers the full syllabus: what thermography is and how it developed, temperature measurement and heat transfer, radiation and the electromagnetic spectrum, blackbody theory and the three laws of radiation, and the surface and atmospheric factors that affect every measurement you take.
The questions focus on understanding rather than memorisation. Rather than asking you to recall a definition, they place you in situations a thermographer actually meets: why two surfaces at the same temperature appear different on screen, what happens to a reading when emissivity is set incorrectly, and how distance and ambient conditions distort the result.
Take the exam once you have completed all twelve lessons. If a question gives you trouble, the section it comes from is worth revisiting before you move on to Level 2, since the equipment and application topics there assume this foundation is solid.
